MPI RESEARCH constructs their fourth state-of-the-art surgical suite!

MPI Research is pleased to announce a 1200 square foot expansion of its surgical area with the completed construction of its fourth surgical suite.

With this expansion in capacity and capabilities, simultaneous surgeries on multiple animal species have become a reality. Fully trained on-site surgeons oversee the four separate surgical suites, including the newly renovated and improved rodent surgery area. The new hospital-style area consists of a prep room, and a recovery area with a viewing area/office that includes high-speed internet connections, for visiting Sponsors. The new suite is equipped with a HEPA filtration system, two fluoroscopy tables for increased stenting volume. Utility rooms have also been added for improved flexibility. Available now to all surgeries are active anesthetic scavenging and liquid oxygen supplies. Modernistic surgery tables for stenting and DSI implantation have been added for faster study starts.
